Covington Plaza has an enormous parking area with only a few cars on it. It is encompassed with restaurants of varying prices, cocktail lounges, sport bars and pubs.
The main entrance is on West Jefferson west of Getz and across from Mike’s Car Wash.

I think they misjudged the customers that woild come. I have seen it pretty full at Christmas but not in the last few years.

Something like that. Book stores haven't done well recently.
The Fresh Food Store is quite popular as are the restaurants and pubs. Covington Bar and Grill has music every Friday night, I'm told. Probably light jazz. On the extreme East end is the Black Dog Pub.
